Lesson 10 {Night Outing}

Night photography @ 18th October 2008…for Lesson 10… Meet PSS @ 6pm for briefing and off we go to Andersen Bridge…

This is our task!!! To take this throughout the outing (abit boring though… but waiting for the boat to come and with the light trail is pretty nice effect)…. btw, this was taken during “Magic hour”

Getting bored now… so Mr Goh taught us this. can u see “Pan Pacific, Suntec, Meritus” name flying out….

Before we pack and leave… i get Mr Goh to teach me some night shots technique…
Using tripod… is the best to take night shots

{Formula One} 1st Marina Bay Circuit Night Race

I am so glad to attend the first ever Night race held in Singapore on 26th September!! I attended the practice session with my customer and babe is lucky that i got an extra ticket for qualifying the next day.

We reached @ 2plus to catch the Porsche cup, BMW cup prior to the real F1…. took a free shuttle from Kallang interchange.

It took us approx 20mins to reach Gate 1 after we alight….
Gate 1 is where we are seated at…. for Turn 1 Grandstand… the tixs cost $1388 w/o gst…… superb expensive!!! but its all sooo worth it (anyway not i pay wor… keke)

Ferrari my favourite cos there is Massa and Kimi

follow by… BWM Sauber

and last stop is McLaren Mercedes cos its nearer to the grandstand… infact i like Mercedes except for Hamilton… he dun have the x-factor & EQ leh(my view only) and most of the racers seems to hate him… hmmm why is that so?? anyone knows??

*a simple cap cost approx 75bucks*

and finally…. we reach this booth that sells the programmes booklet. No biz as each cost $20!!! who will buy????

Even the flag marshal takes time off for shopping… kekeke

Race ended and its time for food….
Everything is extremely expensive here.  A burger can cost you $12.
NO!! I am not kidding you… and a bottle of soft drinks is $8.
But bo bian leh,.. unless u can wait until the race is over lor…
and this is our expensive meal

isnt this place beautiful…. and so romantic… who will come here except for F1 right?

Lesson 4 – Outing to Botanic Garden

Its a Sunday and I gotta wake up sixish to Botanic Garden for my photography outing…. hf and i decided to meet earlier for breakfast and as usual….. she’s punctual!!!! but me gotta bath + ICI aka makeup + dress up…… thats why i am late for 5 mins… kekeke

Anyway, this is my breakfast…. I ask for Milo less x2 sugar but turn out no difference!

We reached Botanic @ 820am…. yawnzzz. It has been a long time since the last I step here and there is basement carpark now….. (I damn mountain turtle lor) it looks so different comparing to 3years ago…. Anyone know if they undergo renovation?????

I submitted these 5 pics for critique…
Lets see what he commented.

1. Waterfall
comments: Achieve the silky water effect + with the rock, it balance the picture. However, should use polariser to reduce the reflection on the top.

2. The House
comments: Left & right should balance. If this achieve, will achieve the rule of third too.

3. Red Flower
comments: A good triangle & vibrant colour but unwanted spacing on the left. However, its a good shot!

4. Dragonfly
comments: Too much spacing on the top but the angle is good.

5. Flower bud
comments: Distraction behind!!! Should use a shoe to get rid of tt man behind… else this background effect is really nice….
